Leonard Maddox Jr. | Vic Firth Drum Set Artist

Born in Chicago, Leonard Maddox Jr Grew up in a musical Family. Starting at the age 14, he began to play in his high school (Kenwood academy) jazz band under the direction of Gerald Powell. Simultaneously, he stepped up and become the drummer at his mother’s church (Praise House Chicago) on Chicago’s South Side. Since then, he has accompanied many of Chicago’s best and Top Artist and Artist around the world. He’s recently been seen playing with Artist Such as Jamila Woods, Jonathan McReynolds, and Sam Trump, just to name a few.
